The City of Edmonton invites residents’ input into projects, policies and initiatives that grow communities, establish government services and prepare the city for the future. Below are current opportunities for Edmontonians to shape the city.
Changing neighbourhoods to meet changing needs:
- Naturalization. The City is gathering feedback from residents on preferences for proposed naturalization planting sites and plant species for the 2025 planting season. Engagement is currently underway for sites in northwest Edmonton. Visit engaged.edmonton.ca/naturalization to provide feedback through the interactive map until April 25.

- Towards 40: Watt Common. Edmontonians are encouraged to participate and provide feedback on the Towards 40: Watt Common draft design. The draft design was informed by the feedback from interested participants in the area and information collected by the project team, as outlined in the background report. View the draft design and complete the survey until April 28.
- West 240 Neighbourhood Area Structure Plan (NASP). The City invites feedback on a proposed Neighbourhood Area Structure Plan (NASP) called West 240 (formerly the UofA farmland). The land is in southwest Edmonton between 122 St. and Whitemud Creek and the Grandview Heights and Lansdowne neighbourhoods. The proposed NASP will create a new neighbourhood with residential and non-residential uses. Revisions to this proposed NASP will happen in phases. Visit engaged.edmonton.ca/West240 to provide feedback until May 5.
Defining what Edmonton will look like in the future:
- Green Economy. The City invites feedback from businesses that contribute to the green economy. Feedback will provide valuable information on the current state of Edmonton's green economy and will be used to help shape how the City supports businesses, improves services and conducts future engagement. Visit edmonton.ca/EconomicActionPlan to provide feedback until April 30.
