The City of Edmonton invites residents’ input into projects, policies and initiatives that grow communities, establish government services and prepare the city for the future. Below are current opportunities for Edmontonians to shape the city.
Changing neighbourhoods to meet changing needs:
- Towards 40 - 40 Street and Hermitage Road. Edmontonians are encouraged to participate in engagement and provide feedback on the safety improvements installed on 40 Street and Hermitage Road. Your feedback, combined with data collected for the project area helps the City to understand how speed limit compliance, driving behaviour and road safety has changed as a result of the Towards 40 program. Visit edmonton.ca/Towards40 to complete the online survey until June 23.
- Crestwood Park Playground Renewal. The City of Edmonton invites residents to provide feedback on Crestwood Park playground renewal. An online survey is available until June 10. To learn more about the project and complete the survey, visit edmonton.ca/PlaygroundRenewal.
- Duncan Innes Park Playground Renewal. The City of Edmonton invites residents to provide feedback on Duncan Innes Park playground renewal. An online survey is available until June 10. To learn more about the project and to complete the survey, visit edmonton.ca/PlaygroundRenewal.
- Windermere Park. The City of Edmonton invites residents to provide feedback on the draft design of Windermere District Park. An online survey will be available from June 10 - 24. To learn more about the project and to complete the survey, visit edmonton.ca/WindermereDistrictParkProject.
Defining what Edmonton will look like in the future:
- Waste Reduction Roadmap. The City invites residents to provide their thoughts on the Waste Reduction Roadmap ‘30 project. Roadmap '30 will guide the City’s actions to reduce waste from 2026 to 2030, and includes ideas to help reduce food waste, make it easier to reuse and donate items, and reduce waste at events and other everyday places. An Engaged Edmonton page, online survey, and series of pop-up events at local malls will gather feedback until June 11. Visit edmonton.ca/futureofwaste to find out how you can get involved.
