City invites input on Happy Beer Street Entertainment District and Windermere Park
June 16, 2025

The City of Edmonton invites residents’ input into projects, policies and initiatives that grow communities, establish government services and prepare the city for the future. Below are current opportunities for Edmontonians to shape the city.

Changing neighbourhoods to meet changing needs:
  • Towards 40 - 40 Street and Hermitage Road. Edmontonians are invited to provide feedback on the safety improvements installed on 40 Street and Hermitage Road. Feedback and collected data will help the City understand how speed limit compliance, driving behaviour and road safety have changed as a result of the Towards 40 program. Visit edmonton.ca/Towards40 to complete the survey until June 23.
  • Windermere Park. The City invites residents to provide feedback on the draft design of Windermere District Park. Visit edmonton.ca/WindermereDistrictParkProject to learn more and share feedback until June 24.

Defining what Edmonton will look like in the future:
  • Happy Beer Street Entertainment District. The City invites feedback on the proposed Happy Beer Street/78 Avenue Entertainment District. Located on 78 Avenue between 99 Street and 100 Street, the District would allow for food and beverage service on the street during special events. Visit edmonton.ca/EntertainmentDistrict to participate until July 6.
