New art exhibit launches at City Hall ahead of Black History Month

Media are invited to join the City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Arts Council at the launch event for Living Portraits, an art exhibit curated by Darren Jordan featuring 20 local Black artists.

The event welcomes the public and invited guests to view Living Portraits and hear from Mayor Andrew Knack, City Manager Eddie Robar, Renée Williams, CEO, Edmonton Arts Council and exhibit curator Darren Jordan.

Date: Saturday, January 31
Time: 1 to 3 p.m.
Location: City Room, City Hall

This exhibit is presented as part of the City’s Anti-Black Racism Action Plan ahead of celebrations for Black History Month.
