Achievement District Test Coordinators,
Happy Friday! We have a few more updates and reminders to share with you this week:
AASA
The shipments of Test Administration Directions and Test Coordinator's Manuals were scheduled to arrive this week, but there was a short delay. The manuals have arrived in Pearson's warehouse and packaging for districts and charters is underway. As packaging is completed, manuals will be shipped with overnight delivery. Tracking numbers are currently being populated within PearsonAccessNext (PAN). Please check in PAN for tracking numbers under Setup > Orders and Shipment Tracking.
Seal Codes
Seal Codes are not used for AASA, AzSCI, and ACT Aspire test units this year. Seal Codes are used for ACT testing.
ACT Aspire
Manuals for ACT Aspire Early High School (Grade 9) are located on the ACT-hosted website under Step 5: Administration. This includes the Test Coordinator Manual and the Room Supervisor Manuals for online and paper testing, specifically for Early High School. Hard copies of manuals are not sent to districts and charters.
ACT Aspire - ADE Policy Reminders
Spanish Text + Audio is not allowed. It is shown as available in PearsonAccessNext (PAN); however, per ADE Policy, this option is not permitted.
Do Not Report - this checkbox in PAN should not be used.
Will Not Test - this checkbox in PAN should not be used.
Students in PAN - Clarification for all tests
Students in PAN for AASA, AzSCI, ACT, or ACT Aspire who are withdrawn or who qualify for the Alternate Assessment do not need to be removed from the PAN sites. PAN is not used for Accountability purposes, so these student records can safely be left in place. You simply will not test these students.
Friday Focus Webinars
There are still spots available to register for the April 1 Friday Focus webinar, titled, "Accountability: What Now?". This webinar will be held from 1:00-2:00pm on Friday, April 1.
