KalGold almost doubles La Mascotte strike length |
Explorer Kalgoorlie Gold Mining has almost doubled the strike length of its La Mascotte prospect at the Bulong Taurus project to more than 500 metres after its recent diamond drilling program 35km east of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. The company’s standout results include a two-metre gold hit going 16 grams per tonne, with more assays in the pipeline from the campaign. |

Pan Asia pads upcoming resource with more lithium |
A further four holes have yielded an array of mineralised lithium intercepts for specialty metals-focused Pan Asia Metals, contributing to the upcoming mineral resource estimate for its Reung Kiet project in southern Thailand. The explorer is currently working to define a mineralised zone that extends more than 1 kilometre and remains open along strike to the north and south and also at depth in many areas. |

ASX-listed mineral developer Technology Metals Australia has produced remarkable vanadium recoveries of up to 96 per cent from batch kiln roast-leach test work of its Yarrabubba composite ore. According to the company, the work completed by star kiln supplier FLSmidth has validated the suitability of the ore to be treated via its Gabanintha processing facility 40km south of Meekatharra in Western Australia. |

Kalamazoo records more positive results at WA gold project

Kalamazoo Resources has received positive metallurgy results from stage 2 test work on samples from the Mt Olympus sulphide deposit contained within its flagship 1.65-million-ounce Ashburton gold project in Western Australia. The results showed improved silica rejection and an increased concentrate grade from 39 grams per tonne gold to 45 g/t gold with lower sulphide recovery. |

A total of 37 holes were completed for 2286 metres chasing multiple near-surface high-grade gold and silver intercepts at the prospective Tintic mine area where previous drilling has produced 3.8m at an eye-catching 98.9 grams per tonne gold and 151 g/t silver. |

Mineral exploration company Aruma Resources has identified a high-grade lithium-rubidium pegmatite at Mount Deans near Norseman WA. Drill assays were up to 1.14 per cent lithium oxide and 1.05 per cent rubidium oxide and included 10 metres at 0.62 per cent lithium oxide with 0.57 per cent rubidium oxide. The high value of rubidium gives the project a multiple metal focus going forward. |

Valor Resources has confirmed the prospectivity of multiple new targets at its Picha project in Peru. Recent spectral analysis highlighted two intriguing targets along a major regional structure hosting the Cobremani, Maricate and Cumbre Coya targets. Rock-chip sampling at the Huancune target has returned assays up to 3.95 per cent copper with a channel sample at the Pacojahua target returning an encouraging 0.82 per cent copper. |

The company said one metre splits from four metre composite gold assays confirmed shallow gold mineralisation at its wholly-owned project. |
