A partnership between St. James UMC and Church of the Resurrection
You must love your neighbor as you love yourself.
Matthew 22:39
The ARJ leadership team and committees are busy planning exciting, meaningful activities for the rest of 2022 and into 2023. Our objective is for more in-person events to bring our congregations and like-minded community organizations together to realize our shared goals for justice and authentic Christian community.

We need more folks to step up and play a part.
If you’d like to get more involved in ARJ activities and leadership
opportunities, please contact Anita Maltbia at
This is the last in ARJ’s series of curator-led tours of the Redlined exhibit currently showing at the Johnson County Museum. It will take you on a deep dive into the history of redlining and how it was shaped by the Kansas City Region. Attendees are responsible for their own museum entry tickets and meal costs. Invite friends and family to join you. Arrive by 9:30AM for 10:00AM tour - 8788 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66212.
