Shares in Lode surge on bonanza silver hits in NSW

Shares in Lode Resources spiked 179 per cent to a high of 37 cents in intraday trading on the back of a bonanza hit from the company’s high-grade Webbs Consol silver project in NSW. The market responded enthusiastically to the company’s latest offering from the project’s Tangoa West Lode of a massive 116.1m ringing in at 1003 grams per tonne silver equivalent from 90.9m. |

Empire powers ahead with NT gas play

Sydney-based Australian oil and gas company Empire Energy has hailed its December quarter as the most active in its history. The workstream was headlined by Empire’s drilling completion of the Carpentaria-3H gas well in the Northern Territory’s world-renowned Beetaloo sub-basin and included a record breaking 2632m horizontal section that was realised on time and significantly under budget. |

Chalice West gives up more magnet rare earths for Auric in WA Goldfields
|
Minerals explorer Auric Mining has uncovered significant enrichment of rare earth elements along a 7km-long strike at its Chalice West project near Norseman with a swag of assay results indicating the widespread rare earths mineralisation including valuable magnet rare earths critical for high-tech products. Auric says a prominent magnetic feature in the project’s centre is also promising and needs drilling. |

Lithium Australia delivers record quarter to close 2022
|
ASX-listed Lithium Australia has enjoyed a record-setting December quarter with the company increasing revenue from customers by more than $200,000 to $1.261 million in addition to a significant reduction in operating costs. The latest figures are more than double the $488,000 made in receipts from customers in the corresponding December quarter of 2021 and appears to be a record for Lithium Australia. |

Dynamic set for maiden drill program at Goldfields project

Dynamic Metals is set for its maiden drill campaign at the company’s Widgiemooltha lithium-nickel-gold project where it will test its Dordie Far West nickel target near Kambalda in the Goldfields region of WA. The explorer has scheduled a five-hole RC program to begin this week at the site in order to drill for Kambalda-type nickel sulphide mineralisation using data based on geological interpretations developed by the company’s komatiite nickel exploration consultant. |

Lithium Energy hits new brines in South American lithium triangle
|
Lithium Energy has landed two fresh intersections of more than 107 metres each of “highly conductive” brines as diamond-core drilling continues at its flagship Solaroz lithium brine project in Argentina. The company says both intersections were encountered at depth with one coming from 186m and another hole delivering from the 176m mark. The results come from the company’s second and third drill holes of its current campaign with the third also producing a further intersection of 57m from 500m downhole. |

Image Resources upbeat for mineral sands production in 2023

Mineral sands producer Image Resources has posted a productive quarter with higher ore tonnes processed than forecast at its flagship wholly owned, high-grade, zircon-rich Boonanarring mineral sands project, located 80km north of Perth in the North Perth Basin in WA. Lower ore grades were partially offset by the higher production and heavy mineral concentrate sales were in line with forecast. |

Critical Minerals Group has begun metallurgical testwork at its Lindfield vanadium project in Queensland to assess ore from its maiden drill program in order to create the most efficient processing flowsheet. At the same time the company has engaged a specialist laboratory to investigate the potential for the ore to be used in the production of high-purity aluminium. |

Riedel latest gold offering sparkles in US gold chase
|
Perth-based Riedel Resources continues to hit paydirt in the United States with the latest offering from its recent drilling probe at the company’s Kingman project in Arizona returning an eye-watering 0.24m going 130 grams per tonne gold, 732 g/t silver and 28 per cent lead from only 21m. The headline hit was housed in a broader 0.76m running at an equally impressive 52.8 g/t gold from 20.4m. |

ADX nets $4.4m following fresh oil production
|
ADX Energy closed off 2022 with a bang after notching up a 29 per cent increase in sales revenue to $4.4 million following the start of production at its Anshof-3 oil discovery well in Austria. December’s bumper financials were also bolstered by a 41 per cent increase in oil equivalent production rates from the company’s Vienna-based oilfields which spiked average output to 273 barrels of oil equivalent per day. |

Surefire Resources’ Victory Bore deposit in WA’s Mid West, is looking like the gift that keeps on giving after a program of 62 RC holes for 5189m delivered a 56 per increase in the operation’s already hefty vanadium resource. The asset now tips the scales at 235 million tonnes at 0.39 per cent vanadium pentoxide. |

Middle Island Resources is widening its copper-gold chase at its Barkly project in the NT with its maiden drilling program throwing up all the trademarks of an iron oxide-copper-gold style mineralisation. |
OD6 Metals has polished off its maiden air-core drill campaign at the company’s Grass Patch project near Esperance where the program confirmed thick saprolite clay horizons prospective for rare earths. The 93-hole drill campaign targeted regional anomalies and prospective clay basin areas identified through a recently completed airborne electromagnetic survey for a total of 3399m at an average depth of 36.5m. |

Minerals explorer Godolphin Resources is pocketing a handy $100,000 grant from the NSW Government to help fund its next drilling campaign at its promising Cyclops copper prospect north of Yeoval in the state’s central west. The grant comes from the Government’s New Frontiers Exploration program as part of the NSW Government’s Critical Minerals and High-Tech Metals Strategy. |

Maximus Resources is all set to launch an air-core drill program targeting gold and nickel at its Spargoville project near Kambalda after highlighting key prospects from geochemistry data and survey results. Queensland-based and WA-focused explorer Infinity Mining has wasted little time getting boots on the ground for what promises to be a big year of drilling, opening its 2023 campaign in the Central Goldfields. On the look-out for gold, lithium and rare earths, Infinity has about 2000m of RC drilling planned for this year across several of its WA tenements. |
