Titebond Speed Set Wood Glue is a high-solids, fast-setting PVA adhesive. Glue the wood, apply clamps and let it set for 15 minutes or so. You can then remove the clamps and get straight back to work.
Speed Set has an open time of 3 to 4 minutes and an assembly time of about 10 minutes. It cleans up with water, is gap filling, dries translucent and is sandable. A real bonus is that you can use an ultraviolet (UA-V) light to see any dried glue you missed before you apply a finish. Speed Set is not waterproof, so only use it on interior projects.
