Impressive results inspire fresh NSW silver campaign for Lode
ASX-listed Lode Resources has fired up the drill bit once again at its Webbs Consol silver-base metals project in New South Wales following the return of impressive results at the company’s Tangoa West prospect. The latest phase of drilling is expected to consist of 26 additional diamond drill holes across approximately 5000m as the company looks to highlight extensions of previous prospects in addition to testing a series of new targets.

Gold in granite shines at Victorian project for Dart Mining
Dart Mining has returned eye-catching assay results up to 42.9 g/t gold from rock chip samples and up to 27.9 g/t gold from mine waste grab samples in the triangle between the Hodder’s, Crawley’s and Sulphide Shaft workings at Granite Flat northeast Victoria. Surface sampling targeted gold and copper in a 400m long epithermal vein hosted in a quartz monzodiorite intrusion with porphyry mineralisation affinities.

Lithium Australia reports big revenue rise, flags strategy release
Battery metals company Lithium Australia has boosted revenue by more than 40 per cent in the second half of calendar year 2022 compared to the corresponding period in 2021. The WA-based ASX-listed company, whose interests encompass several aspects of the so-called “green energy revolution”, also slashed its losses in that same period according to the company’s latest half-year accounts.

88 Energy nearology punt pays off
ASX-listed explorer 88 Energy has reached another milestone in a major Alaskan oil basin. The company has received formal approval over the formation of its Toolik River Unit which comprises leases within the western and central area of Project Phoenix. Grouping the leases together allows 88 Energy to push ahead with further exploration in the Alaska North Slope oil field and investigate pathways to development.

Infinity secures fourth Pilbara licence extension this month
ASX-listed Infinity Mining continues to shore up its Pilbara operations after securing a five-year exploration licence extension for another of the key tenements that form part of its Hillside project. The company is currently undertaking a detailed open-file review and geophysical interpretation of the site with reconnaissance mapping and surface sampling planned for this year’s field season.

Antilles enjoys early results from Cuban gold, copper hunt
ASX-listed explorer Antilles Gold has identified several ore bodies from a geophysical survey as being porphyry intrusives, with proven copper-gold mineralisation from recent drilling at its El Pilar copper-gold project in Cuba. The company says there is also an indication of additional surficial gold-rich zones that are undrilled and adjacent to the drilled El Pilar oxide zone.

Pan Asia chases big lithium targets in Thailand drilling campaign
Pan Asia Metals has commenced 15,000m of diamond drilling at the Bang I Tum lithium prospect in Thailand. Multiple parallel lepidolite bearing pegmatites form a large exploration target with a defined JORC compliant range of eight to 14 million tonnes of ore grading 0.5-0.8 per cent lithium. The company says the first hole of its new program has already intersected a new zone of lepidolite bearing pegmatite from 30.9m downhole.

More gold for Kairos at Mount York
Kairos Minerals has extended mineralisation below its existing 1.1-million-ounce gold resource at the company’s Mount York project in WA’s Pilbara after landing hits including 10m at 4.9 g/t gold from 257m. Known mineralisation has now been stretched 85m below the existing planned open pit depths. The latest results offer potential for a resource upgrade and future underground mining in high-grade gold shoots within the 3km resource strike length.

Adriatic lands more silver success at Euro project
Adriatic Metals is continuing to score goals at its flagship Vares silver project, extending the known mineralisation whilst pressing ahead to identify yet more resources from its 42 square kilometres concession package in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Fresh assay results from last year’s 28-hole drill program at its Rupice NW deposit confirm continuing high-grade thick massive sulphide intercepts.

Riedel wraps up US gold chase with more high-grade hits  
Riedel Resources has notched up a string of stunning gold hits from the last three holes of a 23-hole diamond drilling program at its Kingman gold project in Arizona. Leading the charge is a 0.61m intercept peaking at 38.8 g/t gold from only 17.4m downhole. The company’s latest probe at Kingman has etched out a 2km poly-metallic trend richly endowed with gold, silver, lead and zinc.

Hits continue for AVZ at African lithium project
AVZ Minerals continues to record impressive assays from its Manono lithium and tin project in the Democratic Republic of Congo including a whopping 113m hit at 1.79 per cent lithium from 65.1m. The massive intercept was from one of four diamond drill holes sunk into the company’s Roche Dure north-east extension and also included 860 parts-per-million tin in addition to a higher grade zone with a 36m section going 2.06 per cent lithium and 887ppm tin from 141m.

Galan all set to drill Greenbushes South
ASX-listed Galan Lithium is set to spin the drill rods at its wholly-owned Greenbushes South project after approval for the company’s submitted Program of Works. The Greenbushes South Project tenement is located within spitting distance of the famed Greenbushes lithium mine and the initial campaign will see approximately 2,500 metres of drilling test the first of several key targets.

Codrus readies for run at rare earths at WA project
ASX-listed Codrus Minerals is well underway with preparation for an initial drill program to follow up exceptional high-grade rare earth element results from recent grab samples. The company says exploration work is complete and drilling will commence as soon as practicable once permitting is approved.

Heavy minerals resource boost for Image at WA project
Image Resources has upgraded its Bidaminna mineral sands project with a seven per cent resource increase to 109 million tonnes and a whopping 15 per cent increase in grade to 2.5 per cent total heavy minerals. Total contained heavy minerals also increased 23 per cent to 2.8 million tonnes. Bidimanna is part of the company’s existing profitable mineral sands operation approximately 120km north of Perth.

OD6 eyes resource update after positive Esperance drill campaign
OD6 Metals has successfully wrapped up its second phase of drilling at the company’s Splinter Rock rare earths project near Esperance with early observations aligning with recent electromagnetic survey results. The 83-hole air-core drill campaign covered 4305m and was designed to infill and test the localised consistency of clay thickness, grade and mineralogy of the operation at an average depth of 50m to a maximum of 102m.

Aurum hunts nickel, copper at Murchison gold project
Minerals explorer Aurum Resources is about to kick off a ground-induced polarisation, or “IP” geophysical survey at its flagship Penny South gold project in WA’s East Murchison in search of nickel and copper mineralisation. The IP gradient array survey over a 5.2 square kilometre block covers a historical anomalous nickel strike that returned 8m going 0.44 per cent nickel from 32m.

Arafura locks in acid plant for NT rare earths project
Arafura Rare Earths is one step closer to beginning construction of its Nolans neodymium-praseodymium project in the NT after awarding the contract for the site’s sulphuric acid plant to supplier Chematics. The company says its new partner is a global supplier of sulphuric acid and other major specialty chemical facilities and the plant is significantly smaller than a traditional sulphur-burning acid plant allowing increased use of modularisation that reduces the volume of site installation labour.
