Dear Valued Customer,
On Tuesday, June 9, water service to your home will be temporarily turned off for about 1 hour between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
During this time, no water will be available for use from faucets, showers, toilets, or appliances that use water, like dishwashers and washing machines.
This shutoff will allow Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD), your drinking water provider, to complete planned water system maintenance. Crews will adjust the depth of your water service line that has been affected by tree roots and plant growth between 20756 and 20762 SW Eggert Way.
The water service line is an important part of the system that connects the water main to your water meter and delivers water to your home.
Access to the water meter that serves your home is currently limited due to tree roots and surrounding vegetation. In addition to raising the water service line, crews will also trim arborvitaes and tree roots around the meter boxes to improve access and protect water infrastructure.
Please review the information below to understand what to expect and how to prepare.
