E-ordering goes live in four more markets

This month the e-ordering project has met an important roll-out milestone – it went live on four new markets.

Firstly, the e-ordering for firestopping went technically live in Italy, Poland, and Germany. The commercial go-live is on the horizon, scheduled to take place within the next few weeks. The local teams are ready to onboard and support their customers. This is a great achievement for Promat brand which is expanding its online ordering ambition.
We have also successfully enabled the e-ordering platform in Colombia. This marks a
significant milestone for Latin America, as Colombia becomes the third country in this region launching our solution,
following
the go-lives in Peru and Brazil.
A big congratulations to all teams involved!

Improving Cedral.world website

This year, the Cedral tribe has worked to improve the UX and SEO performance of the Cedral website on the back of a research study which challenged a small audience to complete certain tasks within a time limit. The results indicated weaknesses in content organization and mobile compatibility.
Working with the UX team, the tribe created, improved and streamlined existing content into a modern design with an all new mega menu that is all designed primarily for mobile.  The team aims to repeat the TPI test next year once we’ve made further improvements and released exciting new features such as the Ball Park Estimate module to measure the impact of the UX changes.
We look forward to sharing those results with you in the new year, but until then you can explore the new Cedral website at Cedral.world/en.

Design system - the new visual quality of Etex websites

Over the past year, the UX team has been working on creating the Design system, and this month the very first component has been enabled for our website designers.
What is a design system? It is a structured framework that brings consistency in aesthetics and user experience of our websites. It contains a pre-defined collection of visual elements, like font styles, sizes, colors, backgrounds, icons, layouts, and standardized interactions tailored to each brand's web components.
This systematic approach provides global guidance to external designers, facilitating the consistent development of campaign landing pages. But it is not just a guidebook. The designers can try out the component design variants directly in this system.
Moving forward, we will incrementally introduce additional components on a quarterly basis.

How subscribing to use Meta Products without ads will limit your ability to advertise

Due to changing laws, Meta has recently introduced the option to “un-subscribe for Ads”, which means they won't show you ads, and your information will not be used for ads. Therefore, it is not possible to place ads on or adjacent to your content.
The implementation of the new feature comes along with other platforms (like X -former Twitter-), which are implementing similar strategies as a way of being compliant with GDPR changes. But how does subscribing to use Meta Products without ads limit your options as an Advertiser?
Check out the answers in the article (link below).

Key Users & Champions

In H1 this year, the Digital team adapted the Business Process Organisation structure for digital systems, aligning them with the Etex-wide system support model. The concept introduces the roles of Key Users and Champions, and has already been implemented within the CRM Community. In a nutshell:
- Key User is a business representative for a specific region and/or division. They can submit change requests for systems, which must to be validated by the BPM/BPO. Key Users are also responsible for testing.
- Champion is a local user identified as the first point of contact for colleagues with system “How-To” questions.
In the past months, we collaborated with platforms, regional, and local teams to assign Key Users and Champions for digital tools for their respective geographical areas and brands. The list is now available on Etex Connect, and a link has been added to the
Digital page

Annual Digital Satisfaction Survey

This month, the Global Digital team has conducted the annual satisfaction survey. We have asked the Digital Community to provide feedback on the digital service the team provides to the local, regional and platform teams.
We would like to thank everyone who has given us feedback!
If you haven’t filled in the survey yet, you can still cast your vote by December 8th. Thank you!
