Greetings from a sunny and warm Cape Town. Did your January fly by as fast as ours did? It has been a busy time for us here at Dicraft with lots of new projects and plans for 2022. Today I want to tell you about a gorgeous new kit that we are releasing at the same time as this newsletter.
It’s titled Girl Knitting and don’t you just love this little girl and her kitten?

There are two more releases since my last newsletter, and I hope that you will like them!
Published by the world’s most beautiful needlecraft magazine, Inspirations Magazine. There are two new kits to choose from, one of my creations (April Flowers) was released as a handpicked project and there are detailed, step-by-step instructions available, including photographs to guide the beginner to silk ribbon embroidery and also the advanced embroiderer who will enjoy making all kinds of wildflowers such as white ox-eye daisies and yellow trefoil that complement the rich purples of garden vetch while the candy pink of the musk mallow harmonises beautifully with the wisteria, lavender and royal blue of the field scabious. The second project named Wildflowers (in the hoop) is a lovely quick-and-easy piece made on a pure silk satin fabric and the step-by-step instructions are to be found in Inspirations Magazine, issue 113 which they have just released. You will find the kit for issue 113 here and please note that these two kits are available exclusively from Inspirations Studios while stocks last.

“I have always loved doing cross-stitch, then a friend told me about your ribbon embroidery. I looked you up on the net and fell in love with your pics. The first one I bought from you was the cosmos in a pot. This was the start for me, and I enjoyed creating it – that was in 2018.
