Rock chips turn up lithium for Infinity at Pilbara project |
Infinity Mining has confirmed mineralisation of up to 2700 parts-per-million lithium in rock chip assays from pegmatites at its South Tambourah project in the east Pilbara region of WA. The pegmatites were discovered after a helicopter-supported reconnaissance program in April identified visible spodumene and lepidolite in the southern area of the project. |

Kaiser looks for boost with gold plant upgrade |
Kaiser Reef has completed the first part of an upgrade, modernisation and maintenance program at its wholly owned Maldon gold processing plant. The company says the upgrade works are expected to deliver a 20 per cent increase in throughput rates in addition to gold recovery improvements. Reduction in unit costs through lower power consumption and more efficient operation are also expected, that should significantly reduce operating costs. |
