Radical Missions teams are a core part of our serving strategy. Our goal is to bring the gospel message of God’s amazing love throughout Guatemala. Are you prepared to sacrifice some time and some money to help build the Kingdom of God in Guatemala?
Our teams are about spending 3–10 days involved in ministry and service. This isn’t a “look and don’t touch” experience, we’re all about getting stuck in and getting our hands dirty. We work in construction, medical clinics, feeding programs, VBS, and water projects.
Radical Missions isn’t a massive mission agency, we consider ourselves to be a family of missionaries serving God together. Many of the people who go on teams really get involved with the mission when they come home and really become part of the family. It isn’t just a 1-week experience, we want you to become part of the Radical Missions family too.
Here are details on some recent team trips to give you an idea of how you can get involved. The need here is vast. If God is speaking to you about a specific need, chances are we can find the project to ensure your time here is productive. |

We have built about 200 buildings in the last 18 years. We invite teams to come down and help with building different projects. With some of the larger projects, such as churches, homes, schools, and clinics, we typically build the foundations before the team arrives, and then have groups come down to finish the project and celebrate it with a dedication. We just had a team from Evergreen Baptist Church in Tulsa come down and replace a roof for a school. |

The old roof was made from a clay material and had holes in it. The team came down and replaced the entire roof in just 3 days. If you're interested in turnkey projects like these, please contact us here or email us at info@radicalmissions.org. |

We built a clinic in the town of Chuatzunuj 10 years ago. We are able to have teams come out and serve in the Clinica Colfax which serves 12 communities. This year we had a dental/medical team come down from The Hendersonville Rotary Club and work at the clinic. They worked four days and saw 200 patients per day. They are also working with a University in Tennessee to come and serve in the area of ophthalmic technician programs.

We also have connections with many churches all over Guatemala to set up mobile clinics. This year we had a team come down from Oklahoma to operate medical mobile clinics in three different towns. Each day we set up in a different church to see those in need. We also had a doctor, pharmacist, and nurse go door to door to serve those that could not make it to the churches. Working in the same churches gives us the chance to build relationships with the people In the communities. If you are interested in bringing a medical team down, please contact us here. |

The feeding programs are set up depending on what your team would like to do. We had several groups come down and cook a soup with chicken, vegetables, fortified rice, and seasonings. The team ended up feeding 1,000's of people from different villages. This is a treat as much of the poorer families can only afford to eat tortillas a few times per day. Hot food is another way to connect with the people In the communities and learn more about the needs. The groups also handed out meal bags to members of the communities.

VBS is a great way to connect with the children in the communities. We can tailor programs to match almost any activity list or theme. The groups we had here this year sang songs and played games with the children. They also handed out candy, toys, and crocs which is always a huge win for any child. Most of the families cannot afford to buy new shoes for the child in the poor villages. The crocs have always been an inexpensive item that the children love to receive. |

These are just some of the things we can do if you're interested in bringing a team down. And of course, all of these examples are only a platform to share the love of Jesus Christ with the children, people, and communities. Please contact us for more information about how you can serve the people of Guatemala....
