APPROACH IS HERE
We are officially out of Rock Gym Pro and fully into Approach. While there are still some kinks for us to work out, we would like to provide to you some helpful instructions, so that you may make the most of your experience at ASCEND.
See below for instructions, but we also highly recommend stopping at the front desk to handle this alongside one of our helpful Front Desk Staff. We even bought a bunch of candy bars to bribe you to come say hello and ensure your account is all squared away!
STEP 1: CREATE AN ONLINE ACCOUNT
- Visit ascend.portal.approach.app and select "Create Account" at the top of the page.
- Enter the email address that you current have on file with us. If you are a new customer or don't know which email you have on file, just use the best email for you at this time.
- Enter a password of your choice.
- Check your email for a verification code and enter it where prompted on the app. Note: It will be from noreply@tilefive.com and it may land in your spam box.
- Now, one of two things may happen here:
- You will be presented with a quick confirmation page which indicates that your online account successfully synced with your existing records.
- You will be asked to enter information such as address, emergency contact, and complete a waiver. This either means that you are brand new to ASCEND or the system didn't automatically recognize you, which could be for a myriad of reasons, so don't stress.
- If you are an existing customer who didn't auto-sync, you'll need to visit the front desk or send us a message to get it all squared away. It's a simply fix and then you'll be on your way!
STEP 2: GET THE PORTAL APP ON YOUR PHONE
We promise you, this step will be worth it and it's super easy to do on iOS - Safari or Android - Chrome or Samsung Internet. Open one of the aforementioned browsers on your phone and navigate to ascend.portal.approach.app.
iOS - Safari
- Click the "Share" icon at the bottom, which looks like a square with an upwards-facing arrow coming out of it.
- On the following menu select the option "Add to Home Screen."
- Rename the shortcut to "ASCEND" or leave it as is.
- BOOM DONE.
Android - Chrome
- Click the hamburger menu on the top right.
- On the following menu select "Add to Home Screen."
- Rename the shortcut to "ASCEND" or leave it as is.
- BOOM DONE.
Android - Samsung Internet
- Click the hamburger menu on the bottom right.
- On the following menu select "Add to Page."
- Then select "Home Screen."
- BOOM DONE.
STEP 3: SHOW US YOUR MUG!
The data transfer couldn't bring over the photos of your lovely faces, which we need! All you have to do is stop at the front desk to get your picture taken, and you'll get a FREE candy bar. SAY CHEESE!
ONE LAST THING
We are SO CLOSE to launching our new website, but for a little while longer our current site is a bit of a mess. In the meantime, the best place for you to get things done like managing your account, booking a classes, or buying a pass is going to be at ascend.portal.approach.app.
