November's Event Highlight
In each issue of our newsletter, we will be highlighting one of our events. In this issue, we want to showcase a recent Pistol Clinic in Beaver Falls, Pennnsylvania on October 1-2, 2022.

Some words from the Shoot Boss (EZ3)

“Even though the fringes of Hurricane Ian soaked the range with an inch-and-a-half of rain Saturday, six patriotic Americans endured the weather to polish their pistol skills and their understanding of our heritage this weekend.  These intrepid students showed steady progress in their marksmanship in spite of all that Mother Nature threw at us.

Thanks to Beaver Valley Rifle and Pistol Club, who has hosted Project Appleseed since 2009, and thanks to Texas T and jiminbolivar for providing the necessary manpower to insure this was a safe event.  Chip (210) and Steve (214) led the class in marksmanship proficiency, each also clearing multiple Hits Count targets in addition to earning Pistoleer patches.  Steve won both runs through the "Big Dot, Little Dot Challenge", the first with Julie trailing by a couple seconds and the second with Chip and TJ hot on his heels.

By Sunday afternoon the ammo was running low and morale was running high, a sure sign of a successful Project Appleseed weekend. ”

Community Outreach:
Project Appleseed & The Leadership Institute
On October 10th, Project Appleseed was privileged to host The Leadership Institute at the Rivana Rifle & Pistol Club in Charlottesville, Virginia. The LI mission statement states that, "The Institute strives to produce a new generation of public policy leaders unwavering in their commitment to free enterprise, limited government, strong national defense, and traditional values." Senior Instructor, CokeGuy was joined by 9 Leadership Institute interns and found them, “committed to their mission.

The interns heard the Three Strikes of the Match, the story of Hezekiah Wyman, and learned the fundamentals of good marksmanship. Upon completion of their Leadership Institute training, these young people will go back into their respective communities and play critical roles in doing what we at Project Appleseed urge at every event: Become actively engaged in righting the listing ship of Liberty. We look forward to a deep and lasting relationship with the Leadership Institute organization.
November's History Article by AH1Tom
"The Boston Tea Party Nov – Dec 1773" By: AH1Tom
Excerpt Below:

In the first week of December, two more tea ships arrived; the Eleanor and the Beaver. The meetings continued while colonists tried to find a way to prevent the ships from docking.

The last meeting was held on December 16 and included over 5,000 people. The colonists sent a message to the governor asking him to allow the ships to return to England without payment.

As the owner of one of the ships, Francis Rotch, left the Old South Meetinghouse to give the governor the message, the colonists waited. When Rotch returned hours later with the governor’s reply, a definite “no”, they realized they had run out of options. (Read More HERE)

“How to Assemble a Liberty Training Rifle"
Did you know that Project Appleseed has put together some great pamphlets for free to help you prepare for your next event? Below is an excerpt from one of them.

"How to Assemble a Liberty Training Rifle"

Excerpt Below:
You’re signed up for an event and want to make sure your rifle is ready for the job. Aside from making sure it’s cleaned and oiled, there are some options for your rifle you should consider to be best prepared.

Participating in a Project Appleseed event does not require an expensive rifle or ammo. A .22 rimfire rifle is a great place to begin your journey to becoming a Rifleman. It’s an inexpensive solution to learn skills that will benefit you when graduating to a centerfire rifle. (
