Past Sofar events have featured many artists before they became

New Orleans-based Tank and The Bangas have held multiple Sofar events both in their hometown and in other cities including New York, San Francisco and Chicago. The NPR Tiny Desk Contest winners released their latest studio album, the well-received Red Balloon, earlier this year.

Leon Bridges held an intimate hometown Sofar event on June 21, 2014. The singer-songwriter from Fort Worth, Texas put out his critically acclaimed album, Gold-Diggers Sound in 2021.
