From the January 2023 exam series, alongside receiving hard copies, you can also access your BTEC question papers digitally through a new secure area of our website.

Here, you can download files before the assessment to print onto coloured paper, or if you don’t have access to a hard copy question paper. This new service is available for all BTEC question papers and assessments where you receive a physical dispatch to your centre. 

Only available to exams office staff, you will need your Edexcel Online username and password and will only have access to question papers if you have made entries. Recent entries require at least 24 hours to clear before the exam date. This means that it’s not possible to make late entries and access questions papers immediately. Please contact our customer services team if you need support to make late entries and access question papers digitally.

You’ll have access to download question papers for two hours, starting 90 minutes before the exam start time. This means for morning exams 7:30–9:30am, and afternoon exams 12:00pm–2:00 pm. Printed tasks with a one-day window can be downloaded from 7:30 am–11:59 pm, on the day of the task.

The integrity and security of question papers must be maintained during the downloading, printing and collating process.
