Achievement District Test Coordinators (DTCs),

Please see this week's statewide achievement testing updates and reminders below. 

AASA and AzSCI

Test Administration Directions manuals have been published on the Achievement District Test Coordinator page of our website. Hard copies of the AASA manuals will be shipped to districts in March. Hard copies of the AzSCI manuals will not be shipped to districts. Electronic copies of the manuals may be used for test administration.

For AASA and AzSCI, Pearson has implemented several new enhancements to PearsonAccessNext (PAN) for Spring 2023 based on feedback received after the Spring 2022 test administrations. An overview of the PAN Enhancements has been published on the Achievement District Test Coordinator page of our website.
AASA, AzSCI, and ACT Aspire

Reminder: The deadline to submit Special Paper Version (braille, large print, or regular print) test requests or Additional Accommodations requests is Friday, February 24. Additional accommodations requests that should be submitted to ADE for review include American Sign Language (ASL) and assistive technology needed by the student during testing. Additional accommodations requests should not include Universal Test Administration Conditions or Universal Tools, as detailed in the Achievement Assessments Accommodations Manual.

Please contact us if a student has an injury or illness after February 24 that necessitates a paper test.

Work Requests

Please check in PearsonAccessNext (PAN) frequently for AASA, AzSCI, and/or ACT Aspire work requests that are waiting for your approval. A red bell at the top of the screen indicates that work requests are pending your approval. Please follow the steps in the PAN User's Guide when submitting or approving work requests.
ACT

ACT Webinar

The third ACT-hosted webinar of this school year is being held on February 22, 2023 at 9:00am. Any test coordinators with high school students who are unable to attend the live event this morning should view the recording on-demand. The recording will be posted on the ACT-hosted website.
ACT Reporting for Spring 2023

The ACT Score Report Schedule is now published on the ACT website under Step 7: Interpretation.

Beginning in Spring 2023, all student reporting will be in ACT's Online Reporting System at success.act.org. Reports will not be located in PearsonAccessNext. To assist with this transition, ACT has scheduled two webinars and has provided additional resources on their website, also under Step 7: Interpretation.
