New Quality Improvement Foundations Online Course is Available to All at Your Center |
The Quality Improvement Foundations course is a step-by-step, easily digestible roadmap to help you plan, prepare, and run repeated tests of change to optimize your improvement project.
It is designed to build a shared understanding of effective QI for all health care professionals and parent partners involved in newborn care, and counts for 3.5 CME/CNE for unlimited members at your center (with VON Quality Circle membership). |

Case of the Year at NANN in 2023 |
For years, neonatal advanced practice providers and nurses have stretched their analytical muscles to discover an intriguing clinical case during the Case of the Year presentation at the VON Annual Quality Congress. We are no longer hosting the Annual Quality Congress, and this year VON will present the Case of the Year in partnership with the National Association of Neonatal Nurses at the NANN Annual Conference, September 26-28, 2023, in Anaheim, California.
The case will highlight one or more of the following:
- An atypical presentation or outcome of a common disease
- An unusual disease process or diagnostic challenge
- An ethical challenge
- A transport challenge
- A patient safety-related case

While we are not planning a VON Annual Quality Congress for 2023, you can still access more than 100 videos and more than 600 abstracts and improvement posters from past conferences in the VON Improvement Library.
