Our Q&A Networks have concluded for this academic year, but more will be running in the Autumn term, for which you can book via our T Level Live Training page nearer the time. Centres are reminded you can join the Construction group and T Level: Construction to ask specific queries and get notified of updates. We have also recently launched a Facebook group for this T Level and invite centres to join to share practice, ask questions and network.
We have been in discussion with the Association of Colleges regarding potential progression to Architecture Degrees from the T Level in Construction Design, Surveying and Planning. As you may be aware, universities typically require students to submit a portfolio of designs showing their skill and creativity, alongside qualification achievement. As students will be taking the T Level full time, it is important that they are encouraged to retain technical work where it is practiced such as hand sketches and technical designs using software and that they continue to do this outside of the classroom in areas of their interest. There may also be opportunity during build this portfolio during the employer placement where they work in design sectors. |
The next Digital Q&A Network is 28 June, you can book via our T Level Live Training page. If you would like anything specific to be covered or have questions, please ask in the Facebook Group or contact the Subject Advisor.
Gatsby are also holding a conference for the Digital and Health T Level in Manchester on 4 July. We will be there to support, and you can sign up for the event here.
Cisco offer their NetAcad platform for free and we are working with them to try and realise the potential for Digital T Levels. Join us at the expo on 5 July in Manchester where we will be exploring how to support staff and students with Python using NetAcad. The sign-up link is here.
