Temporary Water Service Shutoff to Your Home
Wednesday, April 23, 2025
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. |
Dear Valued Customer,
On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, water service to your home will be temporarily shut off for up to five hours, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
During this time, your home will be without water for drinking, cooking, bathing, washing dishes, flushing toilets, or other water-related needs.
This temporary shutoff is part of Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD) Westlawn Main Replacement and Pressure Regulator Project. It will allow crews to complete a second connection between the newly installed water main under NW Westlawn Terrace and the active water system at NW Westlawn Terrace and NW 131st Avenue.
The first connection was successfully completed at NW Westlawn Terrace and NW 130th Avenue on April 15, 2025.
These multiple connection points are critical for creating a looped water system, which improves reliability, maintains better water quality, and enhances fire protection - even during future maintenance or emergencies.
We appreciate your patience and understanding. Please see additional details below.
