Now's the time to submit your learners’ marks and samples for the summer series BTEC Tech Award internal assessments. The deadline to upload both marks and sample learner work is this Thursday 15 May 2025.
We contacted all centres with internal assessment entries at the start of May with guidance on submitting marks, how to view and submit your sample and more.
Need more help? Please reach out to us through the Pearson support portal. We are here and ready to help you meet this deadline. |
After you have submitted marks and the requested samples of learner work for Pearson-Set Assignments, you can expect to receive the initial Moderator Feedback Report by 16 June (provided work has been uploaded by the 15 May deadline). This report will provide valuable information about the accuracy of your marking and offer guidance on areas where you may choose to amend marks (if necessary). Amending marks is optional. You can learn more about the reports and making mark amendments on out support portal.

As part of the improved release schedule, the new PSA for December/January 2025/26 series is almost here! You’ll be able to access these on the 2 June, giving you more time to plan, prepare, mark, and upload assessments.*
New PSA release dates
- 2 June 2025 – PSA for the December/January 2025/26 assessment series
- 1 September 2025 - PSA for the May/June 2026 assessment series.
*these changes do not affect Art and Design Practice, which does not have a December/January assessment series.

Remember, you need to ensure that learners are meeting the terminal rule for BTEC Tech Awards. The terminal assessment rule requires learners to take the external assessment at the end of their qualification (the series in which the learner certificates). This means that learners must sit internal component assessments either prior to, or in the same series as, the external assessment to fulfil this terminal rule.
