Action needed: Level 3 defunding and top-ups
Dear Colleague,

The following BTEC Level 3 Hospitality qualifications will no longer be funded in England from 31 July 2025. This may impact your centre if you currently use a top-up model, where learners complete a smaller qualification in their first year before progressing to a larger one in their second year.
|  What do I need to do?

If you have learners currently registered on any of the following qualifications who you would typically top up to a larger qualification once they’d certificated, you instead need to transfer their registration to that larger qualification now.
