Applications for Operating Grant for Indigenous-led Organizations now open |

The City of Edmonton is now accepting applications for the 2026 Operating Grant for Indigenous-led Organizations.
With $1 million in funding available, this operating grant supports eligible organizations in their efforts to:
- Promote the resurgence of Indigenous Peoples’ cultures, languages, identities and ceremonies
- Ensure safe, inclusive and healing spaces for Indigenous Peoples
- Provide education, training, employment and economic security for Indigenous Peoples
The City is offering this grant funding under the Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) Strategy, with the goal of creating a more inclusive and compassionate city. In 2024, 22 local Indigenous-led organizations received funding to further support the meaningful work they undertake related to the three priorities mentioned above.
The deadline to submit grant applications is 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. |
