Edmontonians have one more chance to cast their ballot for the 2025 Edmonton Election on Monday, October 20, from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Where to vote
There are 222 voting stations located across the city. Voters are encouraged to visit edmonton.ca/forvoters where they can enter their address to find their voting station.
Every voter is required to sign Form 13: Register of a Voter before receiving their ballots. Voters who are not currently on the permanent electors register must be added prior to voting. As a result, voting might take longer than in the past.
Services
Tactile voter templates and translated voting instructions in 17 languages are available at all voting stations.
Curbside voting may also be an option for anyone unable to enter a voting station. Please notify an election worker at your assigned voting station so they can facilitate the process as resources allow.
Voters from any ward who may require additional assistance, such as a hearing loop or elector assistance terminal, will need to vote at Edmonton Elections office, at 16304 114 Avenue. On-site staff will be able to support you.
What to bring
Voters must bring acceptable identification with their name and residential address, such as an Alberta Driver’s License or Alberta Identification Card.
Who can vote
Edmontonians are eligible to vote if they are:
- At least 18 years old on Election Day
- A Canadian citizen
- A resident of Edmonton on Election Day
Results
We will release results on edmonton.ca/electionresults once all of the ballots for each race are counted at each voting location. While some preliminary results will be available on election night, we anticipate that the preliminary count may not be completed until October 21—the day after Election Day. We stop counting ballots at 1 a.m. (no new ballot boxes will be opened after 12 midnight), and operations will resume at 9 a.m. October 21, if required.
As required by legislation, official results for the 2025 Edmonton Election will be released by noon on Friday, October 24.
