ETS winter service changes start November 30
November 19, 2025

Edmonton Transit Service winter service changes take effect Sunday, November 30. Various bus routes, including school special routes, will see service adjustments to reflect typical winter ridership patterns.

Bus bay reassignments
ETS will reassign several bus bays at Century Park Transit Centre to help improve efficiency and reduce congestion:
  • Route 712 will move from Bay J to Bay H.
  • Route 713 will move from Bay I to Bay P.
Signage will be placed at the affected stops to direct riders to the correct bus bay. Updated transit centre maps will also be added to edmonton.ca/transitcentres starting November 30.

On Demand Transit
Starting November 30, new On Demand Transit stops will be added in the Aster and Tamarack neighbourhoods, with service to Meadows Transit Centre and The Meadows Recreation Centre.

Please note Stop #33017 on 12 Street and Aster Boulevard (southbound) will be closed with the opening of the new stops.

Routes 910X, 918A and 918B in Gariepy have resumed service. With the return of these routes, On Demand Transit is no longer available in this area.

Temporary On Demand Transit service is no longer available in West Jasper Place, as Valley Line West construction has ended for the season. Additionally, Route 7 has returned to regular routing.

Construction and detours
Several routes are returning to their original routing due to the conclusion of various road construction projects. These include Routes 107 and 119 along 167 Avenue and 66 Street, and Routes 106 and 626 on 132 Avenue between 82 Street and 66 Street.

The
Low Level Bridge Rehabilitation project is ongoing and will continue to impact service until December 15. Routes 8, 500X, 511 and 523 are detoured for the duration of this work.

Routes 2 and 2-Owl remain on detour due to the Wellington Bridge replacement project. This closure is anticipated to continue until fall 2026.
