Tomorrow, Jasper Avenue will reopen to all traffic lanes in both directions from 114 Street to 117 Street. Temporary single-lane closures during off-peak hours will continue for the next two weeks to expedite street light installation. This marks the completion of the first stage of the Imagine Jasper Avenue Project – Phase 2, which started earlier this year.
Stage 1 of the project has delivered upgraded sidewalks, new street lighting, road reconstruction, improved pedestrian crossings and transit accessibility. These upgrades improve pedestrian safety and make Jasper Avenue more comfortable and efficient for all users.
Construction on Stage 2 (117 Street to 121 Street) will resume in spring 2026.
