Media are invited to join Councillors Erin Rutherford, Jon Morgan, Keren Tang and Anne Stevenson, City Manager Eddie Robar and City of Edmonton staff in welcoming the latest class of Community Peace Officers as they officially graduate from Alberta’s Community Peace Officer Induction Program (Class #25-02).
Date: Thursday, November 27
Time: Media interviews at noon, ceremony from 1 - 2 p.m.
Location: City Room, City Hall
Graduates will join the City of Edmonton's Community Peace Officer team supporting Edmonton Transit Services, while others will serve various Alberta organizations and municipalities, including the counties of Vermilion River and Grande Prairie, the Town of Blackfalds, MacEwan University, Covenant Health and the Special Area Boards.
Two new recruits and Chief Bylaw Officer & Branch Manager, Community Standards, David Jones, will be available for interviews before the formal ceremony from 12 - 12:30 p.m. Media are invited to observe as recruits receive certificates.
