NOTIFICATION
Vibration Monitoring Scheduled
at Goyak Site: December 8, 2025

Dear Valued Customer,

In response to recent customer feedback regarding construction activity, the contractor for the 189th Avenue project will have a vibration-monitoring firm on site today, December 8, 2025, to take spot readings of dump-truck vibrations.

These measurements are being collected for general documentation and quality-control purposes and are a standard part of construction best practices.

The vibration-monitoring team may need to briefly touch base with nearby property owners while they are taking measurements, primarily to confirm access points or measurement locations. Any such contact will be limited and coordinated in the field.

As part of current work, dump trucks are traveling along SW Rigert Road to deliver backfill to the Goyak site - filling the footprint of the former Goyak Reservoir - and then exiting via SW 189th Avenue. Dump truck activity is an allowable Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) use for right away work. Despite this typical use activity, additional vibration monitoring will occur at the conclusion of this activity.

Next Steps

Backfilling is expected to be completed this week. Landscaping and fencing are scheduled for the weeks of December 15 and December 22, and the contractor remains on schedule to complete all site work by December 27.
