Hello Better Nature
Forest Bathing

January & February at Bardsea, Rusland & Haverthwaite

🌿 What to Expect

A guided, mindful woodland experience — brought to you with care and rooted in evidence‑based practice, shown to reduce stress, lift mood, and support overall wellbeing.
Walking is slow, short, and gentle — taken at a relaxed pace on unsurfaced paths. At intervals, you will be invited to stop for periods of time, use your senses, and connect deeply with the natural world. Opportunities to share simple reflections with the group may also be offered.

Suitable for most, this gentle approach offers time to pause, breathe, and enjoy the restorative calm of the woods. Engage with the natural world through guided mindfulness exercises, allowing yourself to fully absorb the sights and sounds of the woodland. As you practise mindful drawing, you’ll discover the joy of capturing the essence of nature with simple strokes, fostering a deeper connection with the environment and within yourself.

The experience is not just about observing nature but becoming an integral part of it. Let the tranquillity of the woods inspire and renew you and leave you with a lasting sense of harmony and clarity. Whether you come alone or with friends, this journey into nature promises to be a cherished escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Your guide Sue is an experienced Ecologist, Nature-Based facilitator, Forest Therapy guide, and Mindfulness facilitator who works with people to reconnect with the earth, improve their wellbeing and find inspiration in the natural world around them.

For booking or if you have any questions with regards to accessibility of this workshop or the cost is a barrier please get in touch with Sue by email in the first instance: hellobetternature@outlook.com
