January's Event Highlight
This month, I wanted to give a shout-out to one of our pistol Clinics, which was at Liken's Shooting Academy in Elizabeth, Indiana on December 7, 2025. Below are some words from the Shoot Boss, Geek:

"We had a great 1-day Pistol Clinic at Liken's Shooting Academy.  It was a SOLD OUT event!  December in the Ohio Valley is a roll of the dice for weather.  We lucked in to a really nice early December day.  I want to thank Liken's Shooting Academy for letting us use the facility.  It worked out great for our first Pistol Clinic in Southern Indiana. [...]"

January's History:
Washington's Crossing
This month, we wanted to tell the story of Washington's Crossing. Below is a sample of this month's exciting article from your editor, Roswell.

"By 4 p.m., the Continental Army began moving toward McConkey's Ferry. Ammunition was distributed, and even officers and musicians were ordered to carry muskets. The troops were informed only that they were embarking on a secret mission.

Marching quietly in tight formations, the army reached the ferry around 6 p.m., roughly ninety minutes after sunset. As night fell, the weather deteriorated rapidly, shifting from rain to sleet and snow amid fierce winds. Washington placed the crossing under the direction of his chief of artillery, Henry Knox, who was tasked with ferrying troops, horses, and eighteen cannon across the ice-choked river. The operation was extremely difficult, with floating ice posing the greatest danger[...]."

One Minute to Help Preserve Our Nation
It takes just one minute to write a simple postcard, email, or letter to our representatives to make a difference in preserving our nation. Although you will likely never convince a representative who is dead set on a position, they simply need to know that folks back home are for or against an issue and are watching them. Studies have shown that with just 10-12 letters, representatives on the state level can be swayed. With as few as 50 letters, some federal representatives can be swayed. Not bad for a minute's worth of work once or twice a week. This link www.usa.gov can provide contact information for your State and Federal Representatives.

We accept and are appreciative of all donations. Of course, the thing valued above all is TIME.
