NEW PROJECT NOTIFICATION
Blanton Street Water Main Relocation Project
January 20 to February 27, 2026
Dear Valued Customer,

Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD), your drinking water provider, is starting a project to update the water system in your neighborhood.

From January 20 to February 27, 2026, TVWD will complete the following work on SW Blanton Street between SW 209th Avenue and SW Katie Rose Terrace:
  • Move sections of the existing 8-inch water main to new locations under Blanton Street, between SW 209th Avenue and SW Katie Rose Terrace.
  • Replace fire hydrants in the area.
  • Install concrete support blocks (called straddleblocks) to help support sections of the water main.
This work will make room for new stormwater drainage and sidewalks that will be built as part of Washington County Land Use & Transportation's future Blanton Street Improvement Project

Please be aware that:
  • Water-related construction will occur intermittently between January 20 and February 27, 2026. TVWD crews will not be present every day, but activity may occur at times during this period.
  • Other utility companies will also be working on Blanton Street during this time.
  • TVWD will coordinate closely with Washington County and other utilities to reduce disruptions as much as possible.
