This is a hands-on learning lab for educators and school and district leaders. Hosted at NCCE 2026, this three-hour summit—presented by Colleague AI—is designed for K-12 teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators who want practical, responsible ways to use AI in real classrooms. Participants leave with a clear vision for AI’s role in teaching, strategies they can use immediately, and pathways for continued growth, whether they are just starting or already leading AI innovation.

Dr. Min Sun opens with where AI is heading in 2026, grounded in current research and district realities, followed by a live demonstration of how Colleague AI supports lesson planning, assessment, classroom implementation, and data analysis.
1:45–2:45 PM | Education Innovator Spotlight
Educator Voices: What AI Looks Like in Practice
Four Washington-based education innovators share concrete classroom and district use cases—what worked, what didn’t, and what they wish they had known earlier—drawing directly from their implementations.
2:45–3:45 PM | Educator Workstations (Hands-On)
Choose Your Path: AI at Your Readiness Level
- New to AI: Foundations, core concepts, and safe entry points for classroom use
- Intermediate: Designing lessons, assessments, and student supports while maintaining instructional intent and rigor
- Advanced Practice: Workflow optimization, instructional orchestration, differentiation, feedback, and reflection
Each station is facilitated and built for active exploration.
