Looking for a fun, welcoming way to get active in your community?
Edmontonians are invited to attend free open houses at City of Edmonton community recreation centres throughout 2026.
Open houses offer fun and interactive opportunities for the whole family to explore facilities, try activities and crafts, participate in giveaways, meet staff and learn about programs for all ages and abilities. Whether you’re new to recreation centres or rediscovering what’s in your neighbourhood, open houses have something for everyone.
No membership is required to participate. Come see what your local community recreation centre has to offer!

- Grand Trunk, 13025 112 St. NW: January 25, 2 to 4 p.m.
- Mill Woods, 7207 28 Ave. NW: February 17, 1 to 3 p.m.
- Jasper Place, 9200 163 St. NW: March 7, 2 to 4 p.m.
- Hardisty, 10535 65 St. NW: April 19, 1 to 3 p.m.
- ACT, 2909 113 Ave. NW: May 31, 1 to 3 p.m.
- Eastglen, 11410 68 St. NW: August 23, 1 to 3 p.m.
- Bonnie Doon, 8648 81 St. NW: September 19, 3 to 5 p.m.
- Londonderry, 14528 66 St. NW: October 4, 2 to 4 p.m.
- O’Leary, 8804 132 Ave. NW: November 22, noon to 2:30 p.m.
- Confederation, 11204 43 Ave. NW: December 13, 2 to 4 p.m.
