PROJECT COMPLETE
Blanton Street Water Main Relocation Project
Dear Valued Customer,

Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD), your drinking water provider, is pleased to let you know we’ve completed the Blanton Street Water Main Relocation Project

From January 20 to February 27, 2026, TVWD:
  • Moved sections of the existing 8-inch water main to new locations under SW Blanton Street, between SW 209th Avenue and SW Katie Rose Terrace.
  • Installed concrete support blocks (called straddleblocks) to help support sections of the water main.
This work made room for new stormwater drainage and sidewalks that will be built as part of Washington County Land Use & Transportation's Blanton Street Improvement Project

Next Steps
When Washington County completes sidewalk construction on SW Blanton Street, between SW 198th Avenue to SW 209th Avenue, TVWD will return to:
  • Replace or relocate fire hydrants, as needed.
  • Relocate certain water meters. If your meter is affected, TVWD will contact you directly.
Your Feedback is Important
We’re always looking for ways to improve how we communicate about construction projects. Did you receive the information you needed before and during this project? What could we do better next time? Let us know:
