The popular Tiramisu Bistro has been selected as the food and beverage operator for the newly renovated William Hawrelak Park Main Pavilion. Tiramisu Bistro has been delighting Edmontonians and visitors for 15 years. Operating as “Lift Me Up on the Lake”, they will provide services later this spring to park guests while creating a destination space within the park.
Both inside and outside seating will be conveniently available in the Main Pavilion. Menu offerings are in development. The park visitor experience will be enhanced with year-round access to Lift Me Up on the Lake, the lakefront promenade, accessible multi-use pathways, ample parking, public transit connections and natural spaces for recreation and events.
“The long-standing quality of both Tiramisu Bistro’s food and beverage offerings and industry experience aligns with the City’s desire to create inclusive welcoming spaces bringing community together,” said Juanita Spence, Director, River Valley and Horticulture.
“Tiramisu roughly translates to ‘lift me up,’ and that idea has always inspired what we’ve been doing at Tiramisu Bistro for the past 15 years. As the team behind Tiramisu, we’re bringing that same Lift Me Up experience to Hawrelak Park — creating a destination where Edmontonians and visitors can spend the whole day, from freshly roasted coffee and brunch to lunch, tapas, dinner and sunset drinks by the lake,” said Seble Isaac, owner of Tiramisu Bistro.
