PLANNED WATER SYSTEM WORK
Near SW 65th Avenue and SW Walnut Terrace
No Impact to Your Water Service

Wednesday, April 8, 2026
8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Dear Valued Customer,

On Wednesday, April 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD), your drinking water provider, will perform planned work on the water system in your neighborhood.

The work will take place near SW 65th Avenue and SW Walnut Terrace. Crews will disconnect and remove aging water system equipment that is no longer in use.

You do not need to take any action. Water service will not be interrupted. During this time, you may notice workers, vehicles, large equipment, and limited parking near the work area.

This work is part of TVWD’s Taylors Ferry Reservoirs and Site Seismic Improvement Project. When the project is completed in fall 2026, the two new reservoirs, pump station, and pipelines at the Taylors Ferry site will operate together with the Florence Lane and Garden Home reservoirs. This integrated system will store and deliver drinking water to TVWD customers in the Metzger area using supply from the Willamette Water Supply System, sourced from the Willamette River near Wilsonville.

Later this year, a contractor will also install about 510 feet of new 4-inch water main within the public right-of-way along SW 65th Avenue, between SW Walnut Terrace and SW Wilbard Street. Learn more about this future project.
