Dear Pastors, Faith Leaders and Friends of Recover America,

But how well do you truly know the trustees in your ISD?

How well do we actually know these candidates—who they are and what they stand for? Do they share the faith‑based values you hold?

One of Recover America’s key objectives this program year has been to become more visible and more effective in influencing decisions that for too long have been delegated by voters to independent school board trustees with little accountability.

Our focus has centered on three key areas:

• Mobilizing the faith‑based voter through engagement with more than 8,000 pastors, church leaders, and Recover America supporters, equipping them to encourage informed voting within their spheres of influence.
• Influencing key legislative initiatives in the Texas Legislature, including HB 900 (88th Legislative Session) and SB 13 (89th Legislative Session).
• Removing sexually explicit and pornographic material from public school libraries. Progress has been made, but much more work remains to protect students statewide.

Recover America exists to equip, inform, and mobilize faith leaders who understand that cultural engagement is not optional—it is a stewardship.
