Important ACT Reporting Update
May 12, 2026
Achievement District Test Coordinators,

ACT has informed us they have discovered a need to reissue scores for students who took the online test this spring during school-day testing, including for Arizona's statewide ACT test administration. This need relates to an update to the process used to ensure all test scores are fair and accurate, regardless of when and how a student tested.

Effective Wednesday, May 13, students who took the ACT online during spring state and district testing will have their scores removed from their MyACT account. They will have their scores available again in MyACT after the process is complete, no later than June 2.

For schools and districts, current scores will remain in ACT's online reporting system at success.act.org. Revised scores will be loaded to success.act.org on a rolling basis. ACT will communicate with ADE and with districts when all revised scores have been uploaded to the system. The final reporting date of May 28, 2026 will not change. Final district data files and contract reports will be available on May 28.

In this process, student Composite scores and section scores will remain the same OR go up slightly based on individual student performance. Scores will not be lower than what was previously released. For any scores that change in this process, ACT will send the revised paper reports to schools and will send revised scores to any college or scholarship agency that a student chose as a recipient of their scores.
