Labor of love

This month, we bring you three artists who, in the wake of the loss of a loved one, channeled their immense grief into creative work.

For me, these artists are an inspiration—they show us how we can turn one of life’s most helpless moments into something beautiful; how we can make something that honors and celebrates the people we’ve lost, and how we might feel closer to them in the process.
