Dear Valued Customer,

Water service to your home will be shut off for approximately 1 hour between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on one weekday during the week of June 29, 2026. During this time, no water will be available for use from your faucets, showers, toilets, or appliances that use water, like dishwashers and washing machines.

This shutoff will allow Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD), your drinking water provider, to connect your water service line to the newly installed water main under SW 184th Place. Your service line is a smaller underground pipe that connects to your water meter and brings water from the main to your home.

Because each home will be connected one at a time to the new main, we can’t provide an exact shutoff schedule. Instead, TVWD staff will knock on your door before temporarily turning off your water for about one hour.

Learn more about what to expect during the shutoff and how to prepare.
