Dear Valued Customer,
The contractor working for Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD), your drinking water provider, has completed the Todd Street and Linda Lane Water Main Replacement Project. The contractor is now removing construction equipment, traffic control devices, erosion control measures, and project signage from the neighborhood.
Water Meter Lids
The contractor will need to return to the neighborhood in the near future to install new water meter lids. The lids are currently on backorder, so this work will be completed once the materials are available. The installation will not require excavation or interrupt your water service.
More About the Project
Between March 16 and the end of July 2026, the contractor:
- Replaced approximately 4,500 feet of existing 6-inch cast-iron water main with new 8-inch ductile-iron main beneath SW Linda Lane, SW 137th Avenue, SW 138th Avenue, and SW 139th Avenue, and SW Todd Street
- Installed new fire hydrants and air release valves.
- Removed aging fire hydrants.
- Installed a new water quality monitoring station and removed an aging station.
- Paved areas of the roadway impacted by water main installation and connections.
To close out the work, Washington County inspected and approved the paving and restoration to ensure the work met county roadway and public works standards.

The previous mains in the neighborhood were installed in the mid to late 1970s and experienced multiple breaks in recent years. With these improvements now in place, you can expect several benefits, including:
