City invites input on Edmonton Transit Service |
August 17, 2026
The City of Edmonton invites residents’ input into projects, policies and initiatives that grow communities, establish government services and prepare the city for the future. Below are current opportunities for Edmontonians to shape the city.
Defining what Edmonton will look like in the future:
- Edmonton Transit Service Multi-modal Trip Research: The City is conducting research to better understand how residents combine different modes of transportation, such as bicycles, e-bikes and personal or shared e-scooters (e.g. Lime, Bird), with Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) buses and trains. The research will help identify ways to improve the experience of riders using multiple modes of transportation. The recruitment survey is open until August 28.
Enhancing local economic development:
- Edmonton’s Business Census - painting a clearer picture of Edmonton’s economy. The City invites local business owners to help shape how the City supports businesses, improves services and attracts investments by providing feedback on the annual Business Census by August 31. To learn more about the census and participate, visit edmonton.ca/BusinessCensus.
- City Pulse survey. August's City Pulse survey is live! Residents are invited to share their feedback on how they feel about their community, the landscape security deposit and public engagement with the City of Edmonton. The survey is open until August 18 at edmonton.ca/Surveys.
