New grant for acquiring affordable housing |

Media are invited to join representatives from the City of Edmonton, the Government of Canada and community partners for the launch of a new affordable housing grant. This grant will help non-profit organizations acquire and renovate existing properties to create long-term, non-market affordable housing.
The following representatives will be available to answer questions:
- Mayor Andrew Knack
- The Honourable Eleanor Olszewski, Federal Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience, and Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada
- Shanika Donalds, Vice-President, Housing & Client Services, GEF Seniors Housing
- Bree Claude, Chief Executive Officer, Civida
