It’s that time of the year… The summer sun is beating down on NYC, the air is thick and swampy, the streets reek of hot downtown garbage and we’re all just reveling in our own filth (yum!). I don’t know about you, but we here at QNCC are taking a much-needed summer vacation. In the meantime, here’s a little update on what’s been going on behind the scenes and what to expect when we get back to regularly scheduled programming in the fall. |

First, we’re happy to announce that we’ll have some new faces around the QNCC warehouse. Three new members will be joining our board of directors: KT Kennedy, Christopher Udemezue (AKA Christina), and Nikki Brown.
These fresh voices within our organization will help us to explore new directions and possibilities for the next phase of this experiment in nightlife non-profit organizing. |
KT Kennedy (they/them) is an art educator, resourcer, and organizer. They serve as an Associate Director at Recess Art. |

Christopher Udemezue aka Christina is a visual artist, DJ, community organizer, and founder of the platforms RAGGA NYC & CONNEK JA. |
Nikki Brown is a Senior Creative Producer with deep roots in music, nightlife, and community organizing. |

We’d also like to give a shoutout to our two new Harm Reduction and Accessibility fellows who will be joining our team this fall: Addison Vawters and Stephanie Farmer. These fellows will help promote safety and accessibility for all the party people who come through our space, while thinking more deeply about the needs of the wider nightlife ecosystem.

Last but not least, we’ve released the SoundCloud tracks from SLAMBIENT III, featuring downtempo sets by SHYBOI, Nita Aviance, Diluvia, Makadsi, Pure Immanence, and Mutualism.
