Dear Valued Customer,

From 7 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, to 4 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2026, irrigation water service to the North Bethany Commons Homeowners Association property near NW Brugger Road and NW Kaiser Road will be temporarily shut off.

This temporary shutoff is necessary for
Washington County Land Use & Transportation to advance their project to improve NW Kaiser Road between NW Springville Road and NW Brugger Road.

During the shutoff, water will not be available to landscape irrigation systems supplied by the irrigation service line. This may include automatic sprinklers, drip irrigation, hose bibs connected to irrigation controllers, and other landscape watering equipment.

IMPORTANT: Please share this information with any landscaping or maintenance staff who may need to adjust irrigation schedules during the shutoff.

WHAT TO EXPECT
  • Temporary interruption of irrigation water service
  • Automatic irrigation systems will not operate during the shutoff
  • No water will be available to landscape irrigation zones connected to the irrigation service line
  • No impact to domestic water service
  • No impact to fire protection water service, which is separate from the irrigation system
  • Construction activity in the surrounding area, including equipment, noise, dust, and traffic control
HOW TO PREPARE
  • Before the shutoff: Consider suspending or disabling irrigation controllers to prevent systems from attempting to run while water service is unavailable.
  • During the shutoff: Do not run manual irrigation cycles or activate irrigation zones.
  • After service is restored: Resume irrigation controller settings and inspect irrigation zones to ensure they are operating properly.
