Thank you for your patience while geotechnical boring work was completed on SW Sugar Plum Lane near SW 176th Avenue.
As a follow-up to our previous notification, a contractor working for Tualatin Valley Water District, your drinking water provider, will complete pavement restoration in the geotechnical boring areas tomorrow, Friday, September 18, 2026, starting at 8 a.m. This work is expected to complete the geotechnical boring activities in the area.
What to Expect
During the pavement restoration work, you can expect:
- Flaggers and traffic control in the work area.
- Construction trucks, equipment, and crews on SW Sugar Plum Lane.
- Short travel delays as crews complete the work.
- Temporary impacts to access near the active work areas.
- Noise from construction equipment and pavement restoration activities.
Your water service will not be impacted by this work.
Please use caution when traveling through the work area and follow directions from flaggers and other traffic control personnel.
This work is part of the preliminary geotechnical investigation for the future
Sugar Plum Water Main Replacement Project, which is expected to begin in early 2027 and be completed ahead of Washington County’s planned paving in summer 2027.
