Dear Texas educators,
On November 9, 2026, DRC INSIGHT Portal users (LAS Links Online and PreLAS Online) will unlock an enhanced Student Management and Test Management interface — faster, more intuitive, and built to make your work easier from the moment you log in.
To make the switch, there will be a brief pause in testing from October 31 through November 8, 2026.
Training and resources: to help you get comfortable with the new interface before launch, we'll be offering training webinars along with additional support materials. DRC is providing these resources so you're ready on launch day:

Key Reminders:
- All testing must be completed by the end of day October 30, 2026.
- Testing will be unavailable from October 31 through November 8, 2026
- Educator scoring will remain available for local scoring needs from October 31 through November 8, 2026, for testing that occurred prior to October 31, 2026.
- Update all temporary IDs used as placeholder IDs until permanent IDs were received. The ability to update the temporary IDs and rerun reports (for tests taken prior to this enhancement window) will not be available after October 30, 2026.
- On-Demand Student Proficiency Reports generated prior to the enhancement window will remain available to all users and will not be impacted by this process, but going forward, will be available in your “administrations” drop down menu under “LAS Links Archive” and “PreLAS Online Archive”:
- The "LAS Links Archive" administration will include:
- Fully completed test administrations from December 2025 through October 30, 2026 (scored and reported)
- Assessments completed prior to October 31, 2026 and DRC/Educator Scored and Reported between November 1 - 8, 2026
- Student Proficiency Reports in Interactive Reports, under Batch Download, will continue to render as usual
- The Student Data File (SDF), for those who purchase this file, will continue to render as usual
- The "PreLAS Online Archive" administration will include:
- Fully completed test administrations from December 2025 through October 30, 2026 (scored and reported)
- The Student Data File (SDF), for those who purchase this file, will continue to render as usual
- Beginning November 9, 2026:
- Students are enrolled and registrations (formerly test sessions) are created through the enhanced interface
- PreLAS Online and LAS Links Online testing resumes
